Flight of Kites

Dominican artist, PBazil has a certain unmistakable style and in this original acrylic on canvas painting, his unique style is manifest. Mr. PBazil painted this special scene as he stated, to “”Recreate our memory of flying chichiguas or kites in the city of Santo Domingo.” The city by the bay is filled with colorful buildings of green, red, blue and orange. The day is perfect for flying kites for there are no angry clouds, only a few soft, fluffy, white ones in the magnificent blue sky. The kites are as colorful as the city. There are solid colored ones of blue, red, yellow, and green ones, and some are both red and blue combined. These kites reach out over the water in the deep blue sea while the white caps in the water seem to be smiling and clapping in amusement.
