This still life of decorative everyday objects is submerged in a red and warm atmosphere in this original, acrylic on canvas painting by Dominican artist Clara Beltre. Her three-dimensional brush strokes bring depth to the black and gold teapot and cups which sit on a red and white patterned tablecloth. The perception is accurately demonstrated as the tablecloth fades into the dimly lit background. Ms. Beltre did not assign a title to her acrylic on canvas painting due to the simplicity of the subject, even though the painting itself is anything but simple.
