Accompanied

Dominican Artist, PBazil, created an original, thought provoking sequence of acrylic on canvas, paintings. The featured, unified element is the umbrellas. Additionally, within this sequence are three similar pieces; the “Accompanied” series. In this unique painting, multiple, highly textured yellow umbrellas glide over the horizon in the solid deep blue sky. Three of them are perfectly aligned far into the distance indicating that they are watching over what is beneath them. There are two green islands in the foreground. The medium sized yellow umbrella appears to be journeying toward the lesser-inhabited island to the left while a larger yellow umbrella sits over the brown and white buildings and houses that reside on the islands to the right.
