Fernando Silvestre was born in 1989 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), a graphic illustrator, visual artist, portraitist and pyrography. He has participated in 25 group exhibitions. His artistic studies carried out are with Miguel Mella Art School and he worked with the artist José Pelletier, of fine arts. His mentors are his father Fernando Silvestre Lemoine, José Pelletier and Miguel Mella. He focuses more towards the art of pyrography with wood on canvas but paints all kinds of styles to reach all audiences. When asked where he gets his ideas, he replied “Ideas arise when I understand that something could be better, without erasing its essence.”
