Clara Beltré was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. From a young age, Clara had an unyielding desire to embrace a career in art, and was strongly influenced by her natural talent, motivation and encouragement from family. Her ambition led her to study plastic arts at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo.

Clara is inspired by human experiences, nature, and emotions; particularly curiosity and restlessness. She uses oil and acrylic when painting on canvas, but when drawing on paper, she uses graphite pencil, black ink, and sepia ink. When asked about her art, she said, “What inspires me most when I’m creating is the raw emotion that I feel with each and every art piece.”
